Anniversary and Birthday

Well Caden just turned 3 and had a wonderful birthday - TOY STORY theme! He also started preschool this past week. He is going two days a week and rides the bus to and from school. So far he loves it!! Potty training is going pretty well. He will tell us every time he has to go but is not very confident in going #2 of course! He is still a picky eater and is still working on his speech!

4 years ago today Jason and I married in a Texas courthouse secretly. We have had our ups and downs but we have been through a lot in our marriage. We love our new house and living close to family. We are very blessed. LOVE YOU JASON!

It's really been a long time...Christmas is getting closer!

We have been a busy family since I wrote on here last.

Haley - started a new school this year. She is loving it and loving 2nd grade. She played soccer and just finished her season of cheerleading. She is getting so big and will be getting glasses in a few days.

Caden - has been learning to speak more clearly for the past year or so. He has been working hard and is getting better everyday. We are trying to get him into a preschool and praying he will be placed there. It is what he needs to help him with his speech further. He is getting so big and learning new things all the time.

Jason - has been working around the house and working on christmas presents for the kids. He worked for the Rebel Race this year and will continue to work for them throughout the year.

Erika - is still teaching 1st grade. I am loving our new house and living close to family. I am currently teaching and coaching cheerleading. I tutor twice a week and just finished coaching gymnastics a month ago. I love being with my kids and spending time with them.

We are all ready for Christmas and Winter Break. I can't wait to watch my kids open their presents and enoy the season!

Back to School and Summer is Over

Well we are about a month back into school and are lives haven't slowed down. I am teaching 1st grade again and working one day a week coaching gymnastics. Jason is working part time and looking into some other new prospects! =)

Haley is still a busy girl and loving 2nd grade at her new school. She is playing soccer and doing cheerleading right now. We let go of gymnastics for awhile because we were getting a little overwhelmed and tired. Caden is still in first steps and playing.

It's Been A Long Time!!!

We have been so busy that I haven't even had time to write on our blog. I haven't updated any pictures or anything. So I am taking the time to do it now.

Jason...
He has been cleaning, taking care of Caden, getting his boat ready, swimming, making a new rabbit hutch. He has been busy and we have so much more to do. He has the garden up and growing..can't wait to eat thing from his garden!

Erika...
I have been working (teaching) and coaching gymnastics. I start working their twice a week this summer. I have been trying to get into our pool as much as possible. We have two more days of school left and then SWEET SUMMER TIME!!! I am going to be teaching first grade again next year. I am very excited.

Haley...
My little busy bee has been cheering, doing gymnastics, and playing softball. She is doing so great at all of them and we are so proud of her! She is going to a new school next year since we moved. She is going to be in 2nd grade at Eden next year. She is enjoying our pool and wants to swim everyday.

Caden...
My little stinker is still a stink pot! He loves his choo choos and cars! He has been doing First Steps for the past three months and he started with a new speech teacher this week. He think he is hilarious most of the time...which he is!! =) He is also loving the pool and getting our swing set back.

We have a lot of organizing to do this summer since we didn't really do it when we moved in!

Haley turned 7 years old. Where has the time gone!
She had a wonderful week long celebration of her birthday.
Tangled was her theme and had a huge sleepover with her friends.

Caden had surgery this past week. He had tubes put in and his tongue clipped. He has started meeting with his first steps teacher and hopefully with all these things combined he will start to speak more clearly.

We are getting ready for our Spring Break and we can't wait!

Well we all went through our round of sicknesses.

Caden had his 2nd Birthday. A train birthday where the kids played for over two hours with the train set that Jason put up downstairs! It was a great party!
Caden was sick on his actual birthday so I am glad we had his birthday the weekend before.

Jason and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary by sitting at home with SICK kids and not feeling so well ourselves!

Haley bug is going to be 7 years old in a couple of weeks. I can't believe it! Time sure does fly by. WE are having a Tangled salon slumber party for her birthday. SHE can't wait!!!

We have officially moved and closed our house. We love living close to most of our family!

We have lights up at our house and all our xmas decor out! We love our new house and living in the country.

Haley lost her front two teeth so this xmas she can sing that song with pride! All I want for Xmas is my two front teeth!!

I have all my shopping done but two people!! Almost all presents are wrapped and I even grabbed some birthday presents.

We had a girls day out today and it was fun...watched Tangled! Great movie!

We are finally in the process of getting our house and moving. We are so pumped about moving out of the apartments! Finalizing things will make us feel a ton better. Our dream house, near family, in the country is where we want to be!!!

Jason has been working for a guy part time around his house and hopefully starting something new on the weekends!

I have started coaching cheer on Wednesdays, coaching gymnastics on Thursdays...soccer is over and lots of school things going on! Keeping busy for sure. Parent/Teacher conferences are nearing and then FALL BREAK!!!

Haley bug enjoyed her soccer team this year...they were awesome! She is loving gymnastics and especially having momma has her coach! =) She is doing so good in 1st grade...we are very proud of her!

Caden...our mr. funny pants! He is everywhere into everything! He is trying to tell us sorts of stuff but we are trying to learn exactly what he is saying. I ask him if he wants something and he say nuh huh....so cute! He loves playing with his big sister.

Caden is getting so big! He is starting to talk more....

The first two are his favorite things to say.

He has met a new friend at the apartment and wants to go play with him all the time. They are so funny together...they are only three months apart.

Overall he is just a funny boy who is a STINKER!!!!

Haley has started soccer and gymnastics and loving both of them!

THREE DAY WEEKEND

Three day weekends are so nice! Our weekends are going to be busy with soccer and Jason working so we enjoyed this uneventful weekend.
Friday we took a quick trip to the apple orchard and then Haley went to spend the night at her friends house.
Saturday Haley eventually came home from her friends house and we hung out at home and did nothing all day.
Sunday we took a trip to the campground to visit family after playing with sidewalk chalk. Had dinner and a hayride there.
Monday we took a trip to the park, took a combine and tractor ride with Uncle Adam, went to a party, and played with sidewalk chalk some more!

THE FUN BEGINS

Well our busy times start again! This year Miss Haley is playing soccer and flipping around in gymnastics. I am coaching her soccer team and she is playing U7 this year. She is in Level 1 in gymnastics. She is at my friends new gym...Jaycie Phelps Athletic Center. She is so excited to be doing both. So every Monday, Thursday and weekends are tied up for awhile!

School has started again!

Haley is enjoying her time back at school...made it over a week and went to the back to school fair! She is tired but learning more and more each day.

I am enjoying being back in the classroom and I have a great class to start off my new year as a classroom teacher again!

Jason and Caden are hanging out at the apartment, visiting the park, and the library...doing the things they do while Haley and I are at school.

Summer is coming to an END =(

Well we have had an eventful and Ok summer. It is now coming to an end as school is starting in 10 days. We have moved twice and not necessarily by choice and we have one more move before we are settled into a house. We have put an offer on a house and hoping they accept. If they do we will be going back toward the family which will be nice!

We did get to take a brief vacation. We went to Whitewater State Park. We were going to go boating and tubing but never got to because the motor stopped working one morning while Jason was fishing. So we spent a lot of time at the beach area.

Haley and I are excited to be starting 1st grade together! We will see each other often and it shall be an interesting and fun school year. We have already gotten her school supplies and back to school clothes. I still have some work to do to get ready for my kiddos.

Jason and Caden will be going back into the routine of Haley and I going off to school each morning. Not sure what they are going to do, but they always find something.

Well my baby girl cleaned house at Awards Day. I couldn't believe all her awards.
She got:
Presidential Academic Award
Cheer Stars
Outstanding Computer Award
National Fitness Award
Reading Award
Graduating from Kindergarten
She got most likely to become a Veterinarian

So proud of my girl! She has grown so much this school year. She is reading and excelling in Math. Can't believe she is going to be in first grade.

She is now doing her Mini 4-H Projects. She is in a lot. Hopefully we will get them all done! =)

Haley will be headed to first grade and as of right now so am I. Things could change for next year but as of right now I am going to be teaching first grade.

Caden and Jason have one more day of daddy daycare and then momma and sissy are home for a few months.

Softball TIME

Haley has started softball. Her daddy is coaching and it is nice being the parent who watches instead of volunteering all the time! I get to enjoy being a spectator!! Well I also have to chase Caden around too, Mr. Busy Body! Haley did so much better today at her second game. She hit the ball both times up to bat and she played catcher tonight. We are so proud of how hard she played tonight.

Caden is 15 months now. He loves Spongebob. Jason got a Spongebob toilet seat for the kids bathroom and he thinks that is so great! He loves to talk, get in to everything he isn't suppose to, play hide and seek, and is so much fun at this age!

Haley and I have less than 30 school days left! Then we are off to new adventures! Haley will be going to 1st grade...which I just can't believe. She is reading and writing and acting much older than she is suppose to be. I am going back in the classroom. I am unsure of school or grade but lucky to have a job. I know I will be put where I am suppose to be and I am awaiting to hear where that is. I hope to here soon. If I move schools then so will Ms. Haley! So we are waiting to hear.

Jason sold his fishing boat and got a bigger one. Now all four of us can fit in the new one. He is waiting for a part for the motor and hopefully we all can go out on it soon!

Our house has been on the market for a year and so now we have decided that since it has not sold we are done! Our plan is to stay here and eventually build on to it to make it bigger. We love our neighborhood and where we live so making this place bigger just makes sense. For some reason the house isn't selling so we feel that is our sign that we are suppose to stay!

We are looking forward to a fun summer. I am going to take some classes through school, Haley will play softball, we will go to the pool, go boating, and whatever else we can find to do!!! Looking forward to an adventurous family filled summer!!!

Spring 2010

Well we went to FLORIDA and had a wonderful time. We stayed at a resort and never really left except once or twice. Haley went to Disney and met Ariel with Mamaw and papaw. They also rode some rides. We basically played putt putt, swam, got some sun, played in the sand, took walks, and relaxed! It was very relaxing and just what we needed. Haley got to hunt for Easter Eggs in Florida and the Easter bunny came there because she was going to be with her daddy on Easter. She was so excited! We are glad to be home but miss being on vacation.

We have nine weeks left of school and then Haley and I are off for summer vacation so this summer will be fun since Caden is bigger and we can do more stuff!

Florida - SPRING BREAK 2010

Well our long awaited trip to Florida is finally here and we are now here! We are staying in Orlando. We flew and when we got to the airport Haley fell and busted her lip and hit her tooth and now it is more loose than it was before. She was bleeding everywhere but she will be fine! We have swam a little, played in the sand, taken some walks, had some yummy food, and enjoying time with our family! Hope tomorrow is going to be much nicer since it rained today! The resort is very nice and we love it so far. Looking forward to going to the other pools, lazy river, slides, and putt putting.

EVENTFUL EVENING!

Well we have had an exciting evening!

Jason has been working on building a rabbit hutch for Haley future rabbit all week! It turned out really great...

Then came the hunt for the rabbit...which Jason found today in Noblesville and decided to get a baby Californian breed girl...

Haley's face was priceless...she named her Bela and was so surprised and couldn't believe we decided to let her have one!!!

Then we went to petsmart to find a cage for inside and to take places, went to Target and then Burger King to grab dinner.

Got home and Haley screamed momma my tooth is loose! She says this constantly but this time she was serious...her tooth was very loose and bleeding =)

Later that evening I talked her into letting me just pull on it with one finger for two dollars and it came right out...she said thank you mom it didn't hurt at all. She was jumping around everywhere and we read the book "The night before the tooth fairy"

What a wonderful evening for her and full of great surprises!!!!

Haley's Birthday

Haley just had her 6th Birthday! She has grown so much the last 6 years...

Two weekends ago I took some of her friends and her to Monkey Joes for her birthday and Pizza King. They had so much FUN! I made her a chocolate cake and put a guitar on it for decoration.

Then the following day we had a family party. Gma made her favorite RIBS, tater tots, cottage cheese, and baked beans. I make a guitar cupcake cake and she opened presents.

At school she had ice cream sandwiches and then daddy took her somewhere special this past weekend. She had lots of birthday fun!

Caden has been cutting his back teeth and has been pretty fussy! Poor baby! Wehave been cleaning house, watching movies, relaxing, and working on things around the house.

Science Fair

Well with our many snow days we finished Haley's science fair project. She worked on it for over three hours and didn't complain once! So proud of her hard work.

Had a nice weekend...Friday went to dinner and a movie with my hubby and no kids! Saturday signed Haley up for softball and watched movies....Sunday went on a movie date with my mom and had Ice cream.

More snow coming...I am ready for the snow to stop.

My baby girl's birthday is coming up very soon and she is going to be 6 years old! I can't believe it!

Well we have been snowed in at home! Tomorrow we are snowed in again with no school!
We had a 2 hour delay on Monday and no school Tuesday...then Wednesday no School!

We may be getting a little stir crazy around here but Haley and I played in the snow a little today. The kids and I even went to the library for a few to get Haley some new books and a dvd.

Haley handmade her Valentine cards for school for each kid in her class.

I think tomorrow we may do her science fair project.

Hmmm what else could we do?

Well it's been awhile since I have written on here!

Caden celebrated his 1st birthday last weekend! We had a wonderful party. Jason's mom, sister, and niece came to visit. Our family and two sets of great friends came to his party! I made my first cupcake cake for his birthday and it turned out wonderful. He got wonderful toys that he has not stopped playing with.

Caden has started walking everywhere in the last month and started talking a little more! He loves yelling daddy, mama, Haley, and Spongebob.

Jason and I celebrated our second anniversary two days after Caden's birthday. (Jan. 28)

We had a busy day and my kids must have felt it around five because Haley slept at her dad till 8:30 and Caden slept till after 7.

We went and hung out with Crystal and Kira this morning.

We had a great Christmas but ours came a little earlier than most. Haley was with her daddy Xmas morning this year so we did our Xmas on Xmas eve morning. Santa knew that Haley was with mommy so he brought her presents and Caden's presents early.

Caden was loving the gifts after someone opened them for him and he enjoyed the wrapping paper! Haley got some wonderful presents...art easel, movie, leapster games, much much more! Caden got a water table and lots of toys.

After we had our xmas then we went to Mamaws to celebrate with Adam, Ashley, Ty, and Mamaw and Papaw! Then we headed down to my grandparents for games, food, and socializing!

Can't wait to get some extra sleep in the morning =)

Our little Xmas Baby

Well we welcomed a new baby to our crazy family on Saturday...Ty Michael Schultz was born at 8:55am on Nov 12 to my brother and his wife. He is so cute.

Haley had her xmas program at school and she did such a good job. The concert was very nice.

Caden is still getting into everything that he shouldn't! He is trying to talk to us a little more. Crawling super fast! He is becoming a huge daddy's boy.

We have a few days left of school then Xmas break....CAN'T wait!!!

Well we had a nice Thanksgiving and can't wait for Christmas.

Haley found Caden's present from Santa so we told her Santa had to drop off her present early because she is going to be with daddy on Christmas morning...so he wanted to make sure she got a present from him while she was with mommy! It seemed to work but she wants to see hers now!

Caden is trying to talk but more babbling and screaming. He is getting really good at crawling. We took him to Riley to see a pulmnologist and they gave him stronger meds. Poor kid has been coughing since he was 7 monts old. He seems to be doing pretty good. Except he is so hyper he doesn't want to sleep. He has been taking only one nap during the day!

Haley is loving school and starting to read and sound out words. Mostly her sight words and small words.

I am watching Jason and Haley play Super Nintendo. I cleaned out my closet and found it in there so we hooked it up!
I also lost my camera and haven't been able to find it since Halloween. I ordered a new one today and two minutes later I found my old one.

We are officially on fall break! Halloween is coming up and so is Jason's birthday!

Haley's parent/teacher conferences went well. She is doing great in school. She needs to work on some letter sounds and then she will be set! I have a little smarty pants on my hands.

Well we had a showing today so we went to mom and dads. We had lunch (YUMMY) and we carved pumpkins to make a totem poll. I did this when I was a little girl with a friend.

We also visited the Fall Festival at school and I think Haley had a good time.

CRAWLING and MOVING

Yes he finally crawled!!! Except now he thinks he is big stuff and climbing around and on everything. He also took about six little steps to me tonight! He stands for a long time by himself. He is growing up soooo fast.

Been Crazy around here

Well everyone we have had many things going on!

#1 House went back on the market with Remax - Michael Norton. We lowered the price to 112,900. We had a virtual tour done today while we were home so hopefully that will help get things going.

#2 The house we really wanted went pending a couple of weeks ago so we started house hunting again. We have found one we like only a mile from here but we are trying not to get our hopes up because we can't get it till ours sells! Come on buyers

#3 Caden has been sick for 6 to 8 weeks...he had pneumonia...then a cold...then the croup! My poor little man has been so sick. After taking him to medcheck we have an antiobiotic, steroid, and breathing treatments. Along with his sickness he is cutting his four top teeth at the same time!

#4 Haley got a fever Friday morning and stayed home from school. Then it spiked Saturday morning to 104.5. Doc on Friday said H1N1 symptoms and then by Saturday she sounded like a seal so went to the ER and resp. therapist and doctor said she had croup. So we are doing breathing treatments every 4 to 6 hours. She has missed two days of school and staying home tomorrow with Jason. We hate for her to get the flu bug when her immune system is down already.

That's about it. Taking care of sick kids and cleaning house to get it ready to sell!

Well Jason has been working on staining our fireplace/ledge/cabinets! That are starting to look very nice! As soon as he gets it done we will be putting it back on the market with a realtor. Our dream house we wanted went pending yesterday! So we started house hunting again...so we think we might have already found it! We loved the house we saw today in a really nice area.

We have been updating the house! Put tile in our bathroom and repainted it. Now we are painting the kids bathroom the same color as ours. Next job is to stain the fireplace and cabinets. Then carpet!

Right now our house is for sale by owner till we get our updates done then we will put it back on the market unless we can sell it before then!

In two days Mr. Caden will be 8 months old! Time is flying by!

Well it is hard to write on her when I am working and taking care of the kids in the evening! I am exhausted. I am posting some videos of Caden. 2 weeks of school down!

Well we have officially been in school for two weeks. Trying to get back in the swing of things after not working for 6 1/2 months. Haley is loving school! Caden is 7 months now...he is getting his first tooth on the bottom. He bit my finger and I felt it. He is sitting up on his own really well now. Jason and Caden are trying to get used to a routine while being at home when Haley and I are at school everyday.

Mom got Haley some Hannah Montana stuff and we tried the wig/hat on Caden...we laughed so hard! I posted a picture.

Soccer season is going to start...and I am coaching again. FUN TIMES

First Day of Kindergarten

TODAY was the first day of Kindergarten for Haley. 5 years have flown by and I can't believe she is already in school. She had a great day...it was hard having mama as her computer teacher. She kind of had a melt down but dried up a little before leaving. She wanted to sit by me and stay with me the rest of the day. Her teacher said she had a wonderful day and Haley said she did too! She is excited about taking a lunchable in her hannah montana lunch bag tomorrow.

My day went well too. Just have a lot to do and not enough time to do it!

Caden and Daddy are having a good time at home with Jason's daddy day care! Jason said Caden sat up today for about an hour playing! He is getting pretty good at it.

We found out my brother and Ashley are having a baby boy...so quickly all of Caden's stuff he can't wear anymore went straight to them. We are so excited that Caden and Baby S. will be close in age.

Jason painted mom and dad's popup camper. After that job he decided he wanted his own pop up camper. He finally found one for a decent price. So now we have our own pop up! He is currently working on fixing it up as well. I think he is going to paint it to match his jeep! Imagine that!

Haley is getting very excited that she starts school next week. My baby girl is going to Kindergarten. She also is excited that her teacher is Ms. Grimes.

I have been going to school and getting things ready. I have two classrooms to decorate now b/c I have to go to the Intermediate building once a week and teach computers. I also went on a shopping trip with Jen and Pam. We had so much fun!

Caden is growing like a weed. Hopefully soon he will cut his bottom teeth. We can see them through his gums but they haven't popped out yet. He is trying to sit up more! We had to buy him a new car seat b/c he is growing out of the infant seat already. At his 6 month appointment he was in the 90th percentile: weighs 19.2 and 28 1/4 inches long. I believe he is even bigger now! He loves walking around in his walker and playing with his toys. He has learned already after three times to drink out of his sippy cup...and of course is loving food - he wants everybodys food!

Well we are all getting ready to start a new routine next week. It is going to be a big adjustment for all of us since I have been off work since January. Jason is going to stay at home with Caden and Ms Haley is going to school with me!

Well I have been busy so I haven't had time to post anything on here.

I have been working in both my classrooms, worked registration at school for two days, and did some shopping.

Haley went on her first school clothes shopping trip and was hilarious while trying on her clothes.

She is officially registered for Kindergarten.

Caden is over 6 months old and wants to eat everything! I got him some new toys today for the bath and for the floor. Which he LOVES!

I met some former sixth grade students at the park for a picnic today with Caden. These were the students I had my first year of teaching. They have all graduated and heading to college or work. Time has flown by. It was so great to see each one of them and hopefully we can stay in touch...Thanks to facebook.

We went to the Johnson County fair tonight...where Ashley works. There fair is big! Haley had a blast riding the rides thanks to Aunt Ashley. She also got her face painted like cat. We are all tired and ready for bed!

Well we had four house showings in three days. The fourth one was very last minute. So we have had to do some cleaning and picking up everyday. Plus figuring out what to do while we can't be at our house. Yesterday after our last minute showing we decided to go to taco bell and the park. Jason and Zoe went fishing...Zoe did not fall out of the boat. Haley is taking a jazzercise class in fortville all week and really enjoying it so far. I picked her and Alexis up and they told me how Hot and Sweaty they were! hahaha

Well this past week was the Hancock County Fair. I help with the Queen Pageant so we had the pageant on Saturday and the parade was on Sunday.

Jason has been fishing.

Haley went to Holiday world with her daddy and got home on Wednesday night.

Haley, Gma Suz, Kathy D. and I all went to Harry Potter. Then we went to the fair.

On Friday we cleaned house and went to the library.

Our house had two showings today so me and the kiddos went to McD's and worked in my room at school. Tomorow we have another showing and I have to judge a Queen pageant.

Children's Museum

Well we decided to go to the Children's Museum today. Me and the kids! Haley loved the new Egyptian section. She made a bracelet, drawing, played, crawled on a nile crocodile. She liked the new area outside with all the famous structures around the world that she could climb on. She dug for bones, put together puzzles, and much more!

I have tried two new workouts this week. Yoga/Pilates yesterday and Step/all over conditioning today! My body is sore...but I will be doing them again.

Haley, Alexis and Gabe played on the water slide today. Then Alexis and Haley spent the afternoon playing...they had so much fun!

I had a queen pizza party to attend and Jason took the kids to New Castle...they went to the kid pool and the kids castle to play. Seems like they had a good time together.

Tomorrow I am donating my hair and getting it all chopped off...I am very scared to lose all this hair. I have been growing it out for over a year now but its time to cut it! Hopefully I will like it and everyone can see a picture!

Camping Trip

Well we went on our first camping trip. It was kind of a last minute trip when we realized we had no plans for the entire weekend. So Thursday night we headed to Mounds State Park. We had some interesting experiences. We took my family's pop up camper which has been around for a long time. We went swimming two days, went to the camp store, rode bikes, took walks, played on the playground, GOT eaten up by mosquitos, and sat by the fire.

We believe Haley had her first sleep walking experience...which was weird. Thank goodness I woke up. She fell out of the bed onto the hard floor. She swam all by herself..went down the slide and the diving board by herself! We slept through a huge thunderstorm. Zoe fell out of the side of the camper.

Caden's Dedication - Camping Trip

We had Caden's dedication last night. He slept through the whole thing but our neighbor Pastor Reggie Horner from Victory Chapel came over and performed the dedication for us. We greatly appreciated his time. I have put some photos above from Caden's special Day!

We are going on a little camping trip this weekend. We actually went last night and we are staying till Sunday. It was our only weekend free to go camping and we took the Pop Up camper. I am waiting for Haley to finish her last day of bible school and then we are headed back to the campground...probably going to go swimming!

Caden spend Saturday with mamaw and papaw while I did some queenly duties. Then we relaxed and didn't do much. We had dinner with mamaw, papaw and Uncle Adam --- HOBOS..mmmmm they were good.

Well hopefully we are starting a routine. I have been working out in the morning and Haley has swim lessons in the evening. Yesterday we went to the park during the day. Today the Sutton's came over and played. They had a blast!

I actually swam laps tonight while Haley did her lessons...I feel pretty good tonight!

Hmmm tomorrow...workout and we will see what else...then to swim lessons again.

Saturday we ended up going to the Air Show with the Sutton family! We had a great time. Then we cooked out at the Sutton's house.

Sunday, Haley and I went to the PHHS graduation to see all my former 6th grade students graduate from high school. I am so proud of all of them for their huge accomplishments!

Sunday morning we were cracking up because we were all sitting around when Zoe tried to lay in Skeeter's bed...went to lay on her back and fell out not even waking up. Half her body was in the bed and half wasn't. HAHAHA.

Haley woke up this morning and told us she would get her other ear pierced. She was actually excited. I had to go to school and clean up my room and hand out computer awards. Afterwards I took her. Well we had preschool graduation tonight...Haley is officially a Kindergartner now! She also got her ears pierced but only one got done b/c she cried and wouldn't let the lady get the other one done. So I guess we are going back tomorrow hopefully!

We have a new addition to our family! Our new baby girl Zoe is a boxer puppy. She is so sweet and cuddly...great with kids...loves playing with Skeeter. Skeeter is a bit jealous!

On Saturday Haley scored 5 goals for her team! She did awesome.

Sunday she scored 2 and played her last game. She did fall really hard after being pushed and they stopped the game for her to recoop and then she went back and scored a goal. We are so proud of how well she did this year and how hard she played! She scored so many goals...we may have a little soccer girl on our hands!

Jason brought water balloons and squirt guns so the kids could get Coach Mike...they had so much fun getting him all wet!

Caden has definately found his voice. After he gets up every morning he decides he is going to talk to whoever by screaming. I decided to tape him today. Caden is 4 months old today! Time has flown by.

He got shots today and they said he weighed 16.5 and 26 inches long. He falls in the 75th percentile so we have a big boy!

Doc said he was healthy and doing great.

He tried sweet potatoes today and loved them!

Haley, Caden and I went to the library...Jason made Haley a bike wash! Hahaha it is pretty cool! We have soccer practice tonight and I am going to try and go workout.

Race Day and Memorial Day

Daddy J bought Haley a new toy. We went to my aunts for Race Day and the kids loved playing on it. Then we came home and the Suttons came over and Haley played on it some more. The kids loved it. Then we had pizza and hung out with them. We had a good time.

Caden has had bananas, cereal, and applesauce. He loves eating food and gets mad when we don't feed it to him fast enough!

Memorial Day is tomorrow! We are so thankful that Jason is home and is doing better. We honor him and the sacrafice he has made...we also remember all our dear army friends...we also remember all the other wounded soldiers and soldiers who were killed in action. We will be forever grateful for their sacrafices!

TEXAS TRIP

Well we left for Texas on Monday night. Caden and Skeeter are with grandma and grandpa and Ms. Haley is with Daddy till tomorrow.

We have had lunch and dinners with our army friends. We went off roading the last two days in the jeep in Ft. Hood. Today was a bit scary because Jason took the Jeep up this steep rocky hill but we made it. I have posted some pictures of that adventure. This evening we went to the military ball and had a great time seeing everyone and dressing up in fancy clothes!

Tomorrow is a memorial and then we are headed back home. We will probably go to Six Flags on our way back!

Soccer Girl

Early this morning we headed to the soccer fields for a 9 am game. It was super muddy but Haley scored 3 goals. The team played hard today and did a great job.

Then we headed to Jackson's 3rd birthday party. He got lots of cool gifts and the kids had fun!

Now we are watching netflix and working on cleaning the house up before we leave. Jason is filling up the pool...he decided we should go ahead and put it up!

Well we didn't do a whole lot today. I picked Haley up from school today and we got some stuff to hang my mother's day basket and to plant the flowers she got me for Mother's Day. Before we planted my flowers we had a visitor! A dog was walking through our yard while we were unloading the car. We got him to come to us and found out he was lost. We thought he was lost from Fishers but he was visiting in Pendleton with family and had run away from there. Our short visit from Harry the dog was exciting. Haley was so worried that the people were not going to come get him and take him home. She said after Jason returned him that she was so happy that Harry the dog got to go back home with his family! I thought she was so sweet to say that.

We had dinner at McDonalds and ate outside. Then headed to Haley's soccer game where she scored two goals! She is turning into such a tough little soccer player. Then we headed to DQ with some friends.

The Grey's Finale was jaw dropping! I can't believe it! Now watching CSI finales. I hate it when all my fav shows end at the same time...now what am I going to watch. I couldn't believe the Biggest Loser the other night too! CRAZY!

200th Post and My 30th Birthday

Went to a birthday party for one of Haley's friends this evening and had a laid back day today.

Well our garage sale was very successful!

ON Saturday I joined some friends from work and we completed the mini marathon. My goal was under four hours to cross the finish line. I finished in 3 hours 47 minutes and 40 seconds. Now Jason is talking about doing it with me next year!

We went to Wisconsin yesterday to take Jason's mom a car! A nice 4 door toyota camry. She loved it. Then we drove back. Caden was such a good boy!

Well we have lots of little errands to do today so I better get off of here and get busy!

Haley had Blast off to Kindergarten and had so much fun! She did math, writing, was read a story, colored a butterfly, rode a school bus, and had cookies and milk. She is growing up too fast!

When we got home we looked through everything she got. SHE was so excited!

Jason found our pet toad from last summer. He is was by our back door and Haley is so excited about it.

Caden had fun in his johnny jump up! Put a blanket behind him and he was spinning around and using one leg to jump up and down.

Haley had Kindergarten round up today! My baby girl is growing up.
She wanted to wear a dress to round up so she picked the dress her aunt and uncle got her for her birthday. She was so excited. She thought she was starting Kindergarten today so I had to explain to her how it all works on the way to preschool this morning. Poor girl is so ready to go to school!

Oh yeah thanks to an invite from Jen and Alexis we joined them to see the Hannah Montana movie. I wish I had pics or video from the two of them watching it. Jen and I were laughing so hard at them. Alexis was swinging her head around while dancing and I thought she was going to knock herself out. Haley was shaking her butt and singing like crazy. It actually was a good movie!

Jason took Caden to doc while we were at the movie. He still is having some belly problems and still has thrush. Basically we are to keep doing what we are doing! We did find out the chunk is at 14 pounds and 4 oz! What a chunk!

Weekend

Well Friday we picked Haley up from school and then went to Oaklandon to the park. It was so nice outside we drove with the top off. We then dropped her off at daddys. Jason, Caden and I drove to Whitewater Park. It was so nice out Jason just wanted to drive. I think we will go there again...it was so pretty.

Then Saturday we had Haley's soccer game. SHE SCORED A GOAL! Our team lost but they did so good and worked so hard.

Caden has had tummy issues since Thursday night but he is finally getting better...but the whole family has had it pretty much! YUCK!

Haley's game got cancelled today due to rain so we have been really lazy all day and have watched movies.

Tomorrow is cleaning house and straightening up b/c we have a showing on Tuesday.

We have a busy week ahead...Ballet/Tap, Soccer practice, kindergarten round up, recital practice, recital, soccer games, soccer pictures, looking at houses, and a meeting for me! Man we have a busy week ahead.

Up North and Back again!

Well after Haley's first soccer game (which was super muddy and freezing!) we headed up north.

We met Jason's dad, stepmom, and grandparents for dinner. THey surprised Haley with Easter presents and Caden got some things too. Haley got a Hannah Montana purse and carried it around everywhere we went pretty much! After dinner in Freeport we headed further north to Monroe, Wisconsin. We went for a quick swim.

Sunday, Easter, we hung out with Jason's family...had food, went swimming, talked, and had an Easter Egg Hunt. We even got to meet our new niece Charlotte...she was born in October and we were so glad to finally meet her. Angela and I just switched babies as soon as they got there =)

Monday we drove to Galena, Illinois and went to the popcorn factory and chocolate factory and some other stores. Then headed to Chicago! By the time we got there it was too late to go to a museum so we headed to Holiday inn which had an indoor water park. HALEY LOVED IT! Caden enjoyed the lazy river with daddy.

Then Tuesday we headed to the Science and Industry Museum. We spent all day there and then headed home. We were exhausted and glad to be home in our cozy beds!

Today we took Haley to school, ran some errands, worked out, and I got a new cell phone! Woohoo! We had to pick up house tonight because they are showing the house in the morning.

Well Caden and I are going to the mall with Grimes today for a little bit...then have to straighten up the house. We have someone coming to look at it again this evening.
Jason took the dog to the vet b/c he has been acting funny ever since we got home. He won't bark, play, run around, or even come to us...he also has this funny coughing hairball thing going on.

He has some meds and he will be okay.

They weighed him and he is 12 pounds 15 oz now.

Back from FLORIDA

We are back from Florida. We had a great vacation. We went out to eat, Busch Gardens, pool, flea market, shuffle board and relaxing!

Here is some pics of Caden...hanging out at the pool with mommy and getting ready to go to the flea market.

Our house is still up for sale and they have shown it four times in the past week!

Haley had a field trip today and got to ride on the school bus...her dad sent us a picture! She is so silly!

Caden was smiley today and talking to me all morning...so I took a pic of him. He told me he is excited about flying on an airplane and going to Florida.

Caden had his 2 month appointment today!

My chunky monkey is 12 lbs 2 oz and 23 3/4 inches long.

He had to get three shots today so he is not very happy!

I am sick!

Jason is working outside doing something...in the garage...imagine that!

Haley is playing strawberry shortcake while we watch Garfield in my bed!

We are so exciting!
