Memories, LOVE, Sports, and SCHOOL

We are 9 school days away from enjoying our summer break. Caden will be graduating preschool this week and will attend Kindergarten next year. Haley has had an amazing year in 4th grade and can't wait to be a 5th grader. I can't believe I am going to have a 5th grader and a Kindergartener...doesn't seem possible!

We are enjoying softball season and Haley has been learning how to pitch. We love watching her!

We also are excited about the fair this year. Haley will be showing a pig, 2 goats, and a rabbit. She will complete 3 projects this year...gift wrapping, crafts, and scrapbooking.

We are excited to get our pool fixed and up this week so we can finally swim!

SUMMER BREAK IS ALMOST HERE!!!

We went to Florida over Spring Break and had a great time with my family. We even went to Disney World. Going to Florida this year was hard and very different...we lost a wonderful amazing man who meant so much to us. My kindhearted sweet Papaw. I miss him everyday and my kids miss him everyday. It has been hard living each day knowing I can't hug him or see his smile anymore. BUT I do have his memories, pictures, and I know he is in my heart and looking over us!

SUMMER is ALMOST over

Well we have had a wonderful summer of family time. The kids have spent all summer together while Jason has been working for the Rebel Race. The kids and I have swam, went to splash park, gone several times to the library, softball games/tournaments, 4-H fair and showing animals, and much more! We just got back from a great vacation to Pennsylvania. Our new school year and adventures will be starting in just a couple of days.

Haley will be in 3rd grade and is growing up way too fast. She had a wonderful summer playing league softball and all star softball. We are so proud of how hard she played this summer. Highlights: in field home run, multiple outs, taking a girl out at home, playing so hard as pitcher's helper, and becoming quite the slugger for such a skinny girl. She was so much fun to watch and I never missed one game all summer. After school starts she will start her soccer season.

Caden will be starting another year of preschool and speech. He also will be starting a daycare/preschool. This is going to be a huge transition for him as he has spent the last three years home with daddy! We think this will give more opportunities to socialize, learn, and grow.

Jason is going for HBOT treatment in Colorado and working part time. We can't wait to see what happens after treatment.

I will be starting my 11th year of teaching. I am teaching first grade again and I am so excited to meet my new kiddos this year. I am so blessed to have a great job, great family, and wonderful kids.

Wow I look back and it has been awhile since wrote on this blog. I feel bad because I missed Haleybug's birthday on here. She turned 8 years old and is getting so tall. She is going to be going in to 3rd grade. She had a roller skating party. Taylor Swift was the theme and I made all the girls tutus! They had a blast. =)




We are so glad its summer. Jason has been helping out with the REBEL RACE and working out of state. We have been enjoying our pool, hanging out with friends, and finding things to do around here for fun.

We are excited about the fair coming up. Haley is showing her rabbit, goats, and pigs this year.

We played with pop its and sparklers early before the fourth of July! The kids want to do them every night.

Anniversary and Birthday

Well Caden just turned 3 and had a wonderful birthday - TOY STORY theme! He also started preschool this past week. He is going two days a week and rides the bus to and from school. So far he loves it!! Potty training is going pretty well. He will tell us every time he has to go but is not very confident in going #2 of course! He is still a picky eater and is still working on his speech!

4 years ago today Jason and I married in a Texas courthouse secretly. We have had our ups and downs but we have been through a lot in our marriage. We love our new house and living close to family. We are very blessed. LOVE YOU JASON!

It's really been a long time...Christmas is getting closer!

We have been a busy family since I wrote on here last.

Haley - started a new school this year. She is loving it and loving 2nd grade. She played soccer and just finished her season of cheerleading. She is getting so big and will be getting glasses in a few days.

Caden - has been learning to speak more clearly for the past year or so. He has been working hard and is getting better everyday. We are trying to get him into a preschool and praying he will be placed there. It is what he needs to help him with his speech further. He is getting so big and learning new things all the time.

Jason - has been working around the house and working on christmas presents for the kids. He worked for the Rebel Race this year and will continue to work for them throughout the year.

Erika - is still teaching 1st grade. I am loving our new house and living close to family. I am currently teaching and coaching cheerleading. I tutor twice a week and just finished coaching gymnastics a month ago. I love being with my kids and spending time with them.

We are all ready for Christmas and Winter Break. I can't wait to watch my kids open their presents and enoy the season!

Back to School and Summer is Over

Well we are about a month back into school and are lives haven't slowed down. I am teaching 1st grade again and working one day a week coaching gymnastics. Jason is working part time and looking into some other new prospects! =)

Haley is still a busy girl and loving 2nd grade at her new school. She is playing soccer and doing cheerleading right now. We let go of gymnastics for awhile because we were getting a little overwhelmed and tired. Caden is still in first steps and playing.

It's Been A Long Time!!!

We have been so busy that I haven't even had time to write on our blog. I haven't updated any pictures or anything. So I am taking the time to do it now.

Jason...
He has been cleaning, taking care of Caden, getting his boat ready, swimming, making a new rabbit hutch. He has been busy and we have so much more to do. He has the garden up and growing..can't wait to eat thing from his garden!

Erika...
I have been working (teaching) and coaching gymnastics. I start working their twice a week this summer. I have been trying to get into our pool as much as possible. We have two more days of school left and then SWEET SUMMER TIME!!! I am going to be teaching first grade again next year. I am very excited.

Haley...
My little busy bee has been cheering, doing gymnastics, and playing softball. She is doing so great at all of them and we are so proud of her! She is going to a new school next year since we moved. She is going to be in 2nd grade at Eden next year. She is enjoying our pool and wants to swim everyday.


Caden...
My little stinker is still a stink pot! He loves his choo choos and cars! He has been doing First Steps for the past three months and he started with a new speech teacher this week. He think he is hilarious most of the time...which he is!! =) He is also loving the pool and getting our swing set back.


We have a lot of organizing to do this summer since we didn't really do it when we moved in!
