Long Weekend!

Well Jason is home...wish it was for good, but we are going to enjoy the time we have. He will be here till June 20.

We have been working on the house, but Jason has been doing most of the work.
He put pea gravel down around Haley's playset, a cover over the top of it, painting the shed, planting flowers and putting up lights. He also got a peach tree and planted it in the backyard.

Dad, Haley, and I flew to Texas to see Jason get his purple heart.

We were so happy and proud to be there for him!

Dad got to check out the museum and take lots of pictures.

Jason was on Channel 6 news in Texas this morning. Haley made the Killeen newspaper. The picture was adorable. The picture is below!

Jason gets to come home tomorrow for 29 days. We can't wait to have him with us!

A BUSY SATURDAY

Well last night was Chrissy's bachelorette party! We went to Bucas and Howl at the Moon. We had a good time.

This morning Haley had T-ball and Soccer. By the time we got to soccer she was exhausted!! Her daddy took her to the zoo today and surprised her by taking her to feed the penguins. He sent me a pick of a penguin and said she was having a great time!



In two days we get to see Jason and we can't wait!

Renewing our vows

On May 31 we are renewing our vows. We are going to have it at my grandparents house outside. SO pray for great weather. Haley is excited to be a flower girl. We are just having immediate family come to the ceremony. Then afterwards we are having a cookout/reception at our house! I can't wait to have him home for a little while. Haley, dad, and I are flying out Monday to see him for a day. Then he should be home a few days after that! YEAH!

Haley is playing softball tomorrow morning at 9 am.

I am headed to bachelorette party for Chrissy tonight and then baby shower and birthday party tomorrow!

Tuesday has come and gone

Jason got the pin taken out of his toe today. They let him keep it. He sent me a picture of it if anyone is interested in seeing it. HeHeHe.
They told him he could take leave...so he is putting in for it. So he may be home very soon for awhile. He will have to go back though.

He still thanks all of you who keep sending cards and things. He loves getting mail.

Haley and I have been counting down the days till we get to see him and fly to Texas.

Her seamonkeys are swimming away! She loves them.

Well going to finish laundry and wait for my hubby to call me back!

Haley is most likely playing softball this weekend because they are getting their pictures taken.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Happy Mother's Day to all my friends and family! Hope you all had a great day.


Haley and I went to IHOP and had pancakes, bacon, and chocolate milk for Mother's Day. She got me a cute card. We went to Wal-mart. We watched a movie and had popcorn. Then we finished our afternoon off with a nap! Now she is getting ready to head with her daddy to have dinner with her grandma and aunt for mother's day.

We checked out our sea monkey's and they hatched today! They are super tiny. Haley fed them. Now we are going to sit back and watch them grow.




Yesterday she played her first softball game. She is a quick runner and good hitter. She had a good time. She had almost her whole family there to watch her.

Today is my Birthday

I turned 29 years old today. One more and I hit 30.

I got a lot of text messages, comments on myspace, e-cards, cards, and presents from my family and friends. THANK YOU to all of you! You made my birthday very nice today.

My day started off great when I went to Rickers to get a slushy and they had Mt Dew slushies....MY FAVORITE!!!! So it started off a good day. It ended with my family taking me to Buca's...I am full and tired from yummy Italian.

Jason, Haley, and I all go to see each other tonight on the webcam...Haley had a blast seeing him and talking to him online! He showed her his arm and foot.

Tomorrow is Friday and Jean Day at work...YEAH!

Jason is receiving the purple heart on May 20 at Ft Hood, Texas. My dad, Haley, and I are all flying down to see him! We are so excited. Be prepared for all the pictures.


My birthday is tomorrow and I am going to be the big 29...almost 30. My wonderful husband sent me a digital photo frame for my birthday. He is so thoughtful and sweet! He also sent Haley presents - a Lady Thomas the Train and Sea Monkeys! She was very excited.

FAT SWOLLEN EYE!

Well I am home today with Ms. Haley. My right eye was hurting all day yesterday and found out it is a stye in my eye...Yes I am stye eye! Except I think I have a really bad one because when I woke up this morning the eye was worse and more swollen...almost swollen shut! Anyway it hurts and I have to keep warm compress on it throughout the day. Hopefully it will be better by this afternoon.

I know I shouldn't complain since my husband is all injured, but I can't help it...IT HURTS BAD!

Jason is doing good. He is sending Haley a present and card and my birthday present. We should get it today! Can't wait.

He is receiving the purple heart on the 20th of May at Ft. Hood. My goal is to figure out if I can get there or not. I want to show him how proud we are of him and I would love to see him get his purple heart.
