Another day

I got this partial smile from Mr. Caden today...he is almost 5 weeks old.

Well we haven't really been up to a whole lot. Been cleaning the house slowly.


We took a trip to Wally world today...looked at a house...Jason went to movies with dad and adam.

Caden and I hung out at home by ourselves...he ate and slept while I baked choc. chip cookies and watch CSI.

Haley is with her daddy this weekend...she has strep throat but told me on the phone she was feeling better.

We booked plane tickets to Florida tonight. We found them super cheap and decided to go!


Haley will be with her dad on Spring Break this year so just the three of us will be flying.

Well we have two posts in one today! Today is my baby girls 5th birthday...I can't believe how time has flown by and I remember the day I went into labor with her 4 weeks early. Just so everyone knows Haley came 4 weeks early...I went into labor right after I put the kids on the bus, but at the time I wasn't sure if I was in labor or not - my back hurt really bad and everyone at work told me I was crazy and it wasn't time yet. Boy were they wront Miss Haley wanted out and nobody was going to stop her from coming. She was born via C-section late at night and weighed 6 pounds even.

Favorites things are: Ariel, Princess, Computer, Leapster, BARBIES

Favorite Foods: MINT CHOCOLATE CHIP ice cream, spaghetti, biscuits and gravy, Pancakes, Bacon, Cereal, JUICE, Pickled beets (yes she really loves these, but so do I)

Since we knew Haley would be in a great mood we scheduled to get pictures taken today. Plus Caden is one month old. We got our first family picture taken, Haley's 5 yr old pics, Caden's one month pic, and a few shots of the kiddos together!

Caden is 1 month old today

Caden had his one month doctor appointment today! He was in the 50th percentile for everything and the doctor said he looks great! He weighed 9 lbs 1 oz, 21 1/2 inches long, and 14 1/2 inches around his head.

We are getting pictures taken tomorrow!

Haley's Birthday Party

We had Haley's birthday party last night at the bowling alley. She had a blast bowling, opening presents, and having fun with her friends!

We got some good pics of Caden with his daddy and his new friend Blake...they are only 3 weeks apart.

Doctor's visit

Took Caden to the doctor again today! He has gained weight and now weighs 8 pounds.
He is an eating monster!

I asked while I was having pains in my neck, head, and arms and the doc believes it is from the spinal. He gave me some pain killers and if it is not gone in the next couple of weeks then I have to go back and get an xray.

Jason and I joined back to the gym and had our first workout today. It went good. We were not there for very long but enough for our first workout.

Going to go clean out the car and keep going through the closets!

My wonderful Gifts

My husband got me a beautiful ring and necklace. It was a combination of our Anniversary, V-day, and my birthday. I love them and they are so beautiful!

Caden must be going through a growth spurt b/c he wants to eat all the time for the past 24 hours. He is an eating MONSTER!

Haley was excited to hand out her valentines today at school and she got to take the hermit crabs home today to her daddys.

Doctor's Visit

Caden now weighs 7 lbs 6 oz and is 21 inches long.

He has gained all his weight back plus 2 ounces and grew two inches...he is getting bigger and eating more!


I got released to drive, take a bath, get in a hot tub, and basically do what I want except for sit ups. I can start adding more and more every three days.


Poor Haley has runny nose and it hurts from blowing it so many times. She is so upset about it b/c we told her she can't touch her brother and kiss on him. She even asked if we still loved her even though she can't kiss us! My sweet girl...we hope she feels better soon. Allergies have come since the weather has changed.


Jason and Skeeter are up to the same old things. They are both sleeping in the rocking chair right now!

Well we pretty much did nothing again today! Actually, we changed diapers, fed Caden, rested, and he peed everywhere and we had to give him a sponge bath. I laughed so hard because he peed all over Jason who was sitting in the rocking chair behind Caden!

We did make a short trip to walmart and taco bell.

Here are pics we took this morning of the kiddos doing some bonding! Haley just loves her little brother. I am pretty sure he likes her just as much back. We will see how much they like each other when he starts moving around! =)

TIRED TIRED TIRED

Well we have been feeding, sleeping, and eating. Sleeping is what we want to do the most of. We actually all took a nap today when we got home! We went to the eye doctor and ordered me some new glasses b/c Jason stepped on mine and broke them. Then we decided to take Haley to the Museum to see the new Lego exhibit. It was okay! Then we have been resting the rest of the day!

The Weekend

Well we have been home since Thursday morning. Our house is a mess and all of our lack of sleep is starting to catch up with us. Caden is a good baby but I just need to learn to take some naps here and there so I am not so exhausted. It makes it harder when you have another one to take care of too. Haley loves her baby brother and wants to hold him ALL the time! She is hopefully learning slowly but surely that this is not possible. She still gets mad when we tell her no not right now!

Caden went to his first basketball game on Friday night. I was inducted to the Greenfield-Central High School Sports Hall of Fame. Haley walked me out. We only went for the awards ceremony and then headed over to my brothers to relax. Haley gave us a dance show that was pretty humorous.

Saturday we took a quick trip to Target for some baby items and then headed to Hamilton Southeastern. My brother and Ashley played donkey basketball. I was in tears I was laughing so hard. My brothers night didn't end to well...his donkey was not nice and he went flying off of it and landed on his tailbone. The doctors say he is going to be fine...but man it looked like it hurt. Ashley fell off once too and I thought for sure she had hit her head pretty good...but she was ok. I will never play donkey basketball...it looks very dangerous.

Lazy Sunday is here and that is what we are going to be today........LAZY!!!
