Trip to Texas

I had a wonderful time visiting Jason in Texas. We layed around, toured Ft. Hood, went to museums, hung out at country bar, went to park and lake areas (very beautiful), climbed on a tank, and hung out at a flea market. He gave me a beautiful ring with my birthstone and two diamonds. I was sad to go, but I think I will see him one more time before he heads to Iraq.

Jason sent Haley a ring pop to marry him! She loved it. She liked my new ring...she wore and said it was pretty!
Haley's birthday is coming up at the end of February. We are having a Mickey Mouse birthday party.

Nice Weekend...Four more days!

Well I have done basically nothing all weekend! Haley was with her daddy all weekend, so I worked out, laid around, watched movies, swept the floor, went to dinner with friends, went to the movies, and well really a lot of nothing!

So today I felt like I needed to be more productive, but as usual got distracted very easily. When Haley got home we ended up going to the library and lunch with the Sutton clan! We also checked out signing the girls up for gymnastics. Had a good time. We came home and Haley took a nap and I decided to start putting clothes away and packing. Four more days and I am heading to Texas. I can't wait. I don't think it can get here fast enough.

Well I need to go finish packing because this week is going to be busy. I have two bball games and a conference on Thursday. Then off to the airport bright and early Friday morning!! YIPPEE!

Okay, Haley and I are going to snuggle and watch a movie before she goes to bed and then I will finish packing and doing my clothes! Have a great day!

1/2 day today!

Well I am ready for a three day weekend. Haley is with her daddy this weekend! So why she is gone I am going to be working on cleaning the house and doing my least favorite thing --- putting my clothes away and hers. The play room needs a good cleaning as well! I am afraid to even open the door and turn on the light in there.

Went and worked out today...got my sub plans done for next week while I am gone...and going to head to dinner and a movie with some friends!

Oh and well I am going to be paying some bills here in a few minutes! I am sort of avoiding it! I hate to see my money disappear so quickly out of my bank account, but that's life!

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Grimes and I at work today!!! I love that girl!

Here are some pics Jason sent me of him working hard!!

Snowy Day!

I am not a huge fan of snow! I like looking at it and think it is pretty as long as I don't have to be in it or drive in it. I have a huge anxiety about driving in the snow. Anyways it has been snowing all day and it looks like it is snowing harder.

I had bowling tonight and I didn't do as good as last week. Worked out and picked up Haley!

My favorite show is back on and I am watching it right now! PRISON BREAK! I am also sitting here waiting for a phone call!

Haley is getting ready to go to bed and just finished her breathing treatment. She has to do them every night before bed, but I do believe they are helping her. I signed her up for soccer today and when I told her I was again the best momma ever! She is so excited! Okay going to go put her in bed!

Another Sunday at home!

We slept in this morning and it was very nice, but of course I got my wake up call really early this morning from a certain Army guy! I went back to sleep right after...hahaha. Haley watched some cartoons and I fixed us brunch - Waffles and fruit smoothies. As always when I do something she likes she tells me I am the best Mommy ever! We are going to take it easy today and watch movies and play board games. Skeeter is driving us crazy today...chewing on stuff he is not suppose to, but what's new! Going to Mamaw Suz's and Papaw Tim's house for dinner tonight. Then it is back to work again on Monday!

We have added some pics to this post: Skeeter's new haircut, Haley and I,

Texas sunset from Jason's eyes (which is a beautiful picture), and Jason working!

Welcome to our first blog!

Well we are starting a new year and we hope it to be the best ever!

Haley will be turning 4 on Feb. 24 and we are in the process of planning her birthday party (Mickey Mouse is her chosen theme this year)! She is going to daycare while I am at work and on Tuesday and Thursdays she has preschool while she is there. She is getting so smart! She has learned to zip her coat all by herself, trying to tie her shoes, counting, learning the alphabet, and playing! She had a wonderful Christmas and got many of things she wanted ---Santa brought her The Dora Kitchen. She has also learned to use all my sayings and words against me...what a clever little girl! She is super independent and likes to do things her way...so we tend to butt heads sometimes.

I have finally found the place I am suppose to be...I am teaching computers to grades K-6 and I am loving it. I am also co in charge of some things through school: Maple Ridge Live News Announcements, Bowling, Social Committee, and Cheerleading. I also was put in charge of the xmas sing along this year and everyone said it was great! I am also on the 4-H Fair Queen Committee and this year is the 50th year...and 10 years ago I was crowned. Time is just flying by. We moved last April to Pendleton and I bought a nice house with a big backyard that is fenced in. We got a dog and he loves to chew on everything! I have also met an amazing man, Jason, who makes me smile and very happy! He drives a tank in the Army and is stationed in Ft. Hood, Texas. He will be leaving soon for Iraq so please keep him in your thoughts!

Skeeter and his new toys!!!
