FUTURE FARMER

Haley went on a combine ride with Uncle Adam today! She had been waiting all weekend to go in the field. She didn't get to go for very long but I told her we would do it again soon. Bryce was there when we got there so I got their picture on the combine.

While I was waiting I went to mom and dads house...dad has been building a porch onto the shed. It looks very nice.

I went to the movies with Jen and saw Women...it was a good movie.

Came home and cleaned house.

Caden's Room

Here are some pics of his room in progress. We are going to paint it blue. We still need to hang pictures, lights, and mobile above the changing table. We also need to get a new curtain!

GOOD NEWS

Haley and Jason cuddling while he was on leave for two weeks!

Well we found out if everything goes well and they give Jason what he deserves for disability then he will be home by NOVEMBER or DECEMBER! That is something to hope for. He also received a big grant today and we are very grateful.

Haley and I painted letters for Caden's name for his room. We also painted picture frames for his room. Then Haley drew a farm picture to hang up in his room. I have posted a picture of it. It is so cute!

Haley went to Mamaw and Papaw Paxton's to break in the playhouse! This is the same playhouse that me, my brother, and cousins used to play in. They fixed it back up for the grandkids. Haley didn't want to leave or go home! She was so excited to see it and play in it today!

Tomorrow I am 20 weeks pregnant according to the ultrasound. Here is a picture of my belly. He has been pushing my left side like crazy today...wearing me out already!

SAD DAY at our house!

Well, I had to go to work today! The whole time I wanted to be home with my hubby on his last day here. I got to spend a whole two hours with him today before taking him to the airport. Haley and I drove him to the airport and we were very sad to see him go. We are just tired of saying goodbye...we can't wait to have him here FOREVER!!! We are praying it will be very soon, but we have no idea if he will even be home for xmas this point.

We went to the Sutton's for cookout and we had a great time. Jason made it safely back to Texas =(

Tomorrow Haley goes to her dads house for cookout and I am going to IKEA with the family. Maybe look for some baby boy stuff!!!

Our little Caden Palmer Matthews will be here in about 18-20 weeks! =)

It's a BOY!!! =)

Well we found out today we are having a baby boy! We are very excited...well Haley isn't. She was really hoping it was a baby sister. Hopefully over time she will get used to the idea.

Jason leaves to go back to Texas tomorrow evening =(

Hopefully the next time he comes home it is for good!

Doctor's Appointment

Well we had our second doctor's visit. Everything looks great according to the doctor. I am 17 weeks this week and I have gained a total of 2 pounds. The baby's heartbeat was 148 and was moving all around in there today! I have to go to orthopedic doctor on tuesday to have them look at my arm and elbow. It keeps popping out of socket. Then Thursday we find out if it's a boy or girl! YEAH! We can't wait.

We have rearranged Haley's room to make more room for toys and the baby's room is pretty much cleaned out. Jason put the crib up too.

Haley's old seamonkeys passed away but we got new ones this week...so she is super excited.

She is loving school and has been creating all sorts of artwork everyday this week! She even went on a field trip to the Library this week.

A NICE FAMILY WEEKEND

It has been so wonderful having Jason home and we had a great weekend! We ran errands...got Haley a new backpack for her new preschool she starts tomorrow. She is so excited. She colored pictures for her teachers and was carrying her backpack around all day today. We also got her a bicycle helmet (BARBIE PINK), elbow, and knee pads. We played ball outside and she is been driving her jeep and bike all around!

We have been looking at land in the country, houses to build, and working on the house.

Haley and Jason are putting together a jewelery box. When she gets home tomorrow they are going to paint it.

Jason has done so much in a couple of days it is amazing! He is even making me a steak right now! MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!

HE IS HOME

Well mom and Haley went and picked Jason up at the airport today. Then they came to school at the end of the day! It was so good to see him. It has been since July. He's already been busy around the house...I think he is just excited to have something to do.

Haley is going to go to Preschool at Trinity Life Center starting Monday. She is very excited. She will go everyday. She is going to go on field trips too. Her first field trip is the LIBRARY...woohoo right by our house. Then another one is to the Pendleton Park. She is very excited about this change. I hope it all works out.

So glad to have Jason home with us for 2 weeks.
