Thursday's Thoughts

Well yesterday Haley and I went up to school and I did some stuff in my classroom. Haley ended up hanging out with Jenny B, Keeley, Grimes, and babysitting baby Morgan. I took there picture! She is practicing to be a big sister and I think she can't wait! Then I went to the chiropractor and took her to bible school. I then went to the teacher store with some friends and then to Hooters.

After going to the teacher store yesterday I am going to go to school and try to get my room done! That way I don't have to go back to do anything till school starts. I will probably then come home and clean and do laundry! It has to be done. Haley is with her Daddy till Sunday morning...he's getting married this weekend...Haley's the flower girl! She told me a secret about what her shoes look like! =) She is so funny!

Pregnancy: Starting to feel better...hopefully forever! I started going to the chiropractor and that has helped. I go to the doctor on Aug. 15! So I can't wait to hear the heartbeat.

Jason: He is still working at the stables. He seems to enjoy it but is very tired when he is done! His doctor gets back from vacation next week, so hopefully we will no more when he goes to that appointment. I can't wait to have him home for good! Don't forget you can send him mail, call him, or email him.

Saturday Morning - GOOD MORNING!

We went to my school and finished hanging all the paper and border. It looks awesome! I am turning the lab into "Matthews Rainforest Cyber Cafe"...and when I am done it is staying up for two years. I made a banner to hang outside of the room. After we went there we went to Mamaw Suz's and Papaw Tim's to hang out. We ended up going to Cracker Barrell and Home Depot with them. While we were there we sat up the baby's play yard, bassinet, and changing table all in one to see what it looked like. It has frogs all over it. We hung out there for awhile b/c I had a migraine.

Next day was pretty sick but had to take Haley to the doctor...she was all stopped up and couldn't breathe. He gave her zithromax and we caught it before it went down into her lungs. Then we both took naps. Suttons invited us over...we went to dinner and then the kids played. I had a migraine on the other side of my head.

Today we are going to clean up the house. Then we have Aunt Ashley's wedding shower to go to. Then Kristen's wedding reception to attend.

Jason is taking it easy, taking naps, watching movies, and ready to come home! We can't wait for him to come home. Haley asks almost everyday when he is coming home? this weekend? Breaks my heart to tell her no not this weekend.

Jason officially got promoted today! He is now a specialist.

He is still in Texas and filling out lots of paperwork.

Haley and I kinda took it easy today. This morning wasn't feeling too hot, so we laid around in my bed and watched tv...haley played games on the computer. We both got dressed. Cleaned and swept the living room, had mac and cheese for lunch. Then we decided to get out of the house and go to momma's school and work. She loves going there and messing with all my stuff. I got half of the classroom papered and bordered. Haley said it looked pretty nice and neat! She tried helping me and got mad when I told her I really didn't need her help. Then we cleaned out the car, talked to our neighbor and made biscuits and dried beef gravy for dinner. Haley said it was the best. Then headed to bed!

Girls Day!

Well I got Haley back this morning and then we went to Mamaw and Papaw's to drop off play yard for Baby Matthews. Then we went and visited with Mamaw Donna and Papaw Bill. We got some sweet corn......mmmmmm that's what we are having for dinner. Then we met the girls for lunch - Kittle (future Baby Kittle), Jen, and Alexis at the bank. Then Haley said "momma I don't want to go home yet." So we headed to the new mall in Noblesville. We spent the afternoon walking around, shopping a little, hanging out in the book store, went and got cookie and a drink, then Haley played on the playground there. Now we are relaxing on the bed...we are tired. We will probably head to the library to return some books and get some more. Maybe some movies. Well that's about it. We had a nice day just the two of us hanging out!

I judged the Jay County Queen Pageant tonight. It was interesting and had a great time judging!

No Sickness today...thank goodness because yesterday was a bad day!!

Saturday - No Plans!

Haley decided we needed tats the other day!



I am just sitting here on a Saturday morning not doing much at all! I just paid some bills and balanced my checkbook. Pretty exciting stuff.




We like to send silly pics to Jason!


Jason is in Texas...if you want to send him any mail I have put his address on here again at the end of this post. He got a job at the horse stalls on post. At this time we are not sure when he will be home again, but hopefully it will be for good the next time we see his face around here! He is getting promoted to Specialist!


Pregnancy: Well not much to tell...I am still getting sick but not as much, but still everyday! My belly seems to be getting bigger. I go to a doctors appt on Wednesday, but just an initial background and informational visit. Then they will schedule another appointment where I will get to hear the heartbeat! I can't wait. It will make all the sickness not seem so bad!


Haley started swim lessons again. She was so excited about going. The teacher said she was a fast learner, but after 45 minutes she started to get super tired. She ended up swimming from the shallow end to the deep end by herself with no arm floaties...it was so exciting! Otherwise she is still excited about what she calls "her Baby", playing, riding her bike, and picking on Skeeter.
